Microsystems First Inc. is a strategic marketing company for innovative technologies. We either own or have exclusive licenses for several innovative technologies as listed on our products page. We focus on enabling humanity to have safe and secure food and pharmaceuticals anywhere in the universe, starting from our blue home called earth, while ensuring the technologies and processes are green (eco-friendly and economical).

Satyanarayan (Satya) Dev, PhD

Our Chief Inventor & Vice President for Research, Dr. Dev is a Faculty in the Biological Systems Engineering Program at the College of Agriculture and Food Sciences in Florida A&M University (FAMU)and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at the FAMU-FSU Joint College of Engineering. He received his M.Sc. and PhD in 2007 and 2010 respectively from McGill University with an interdisciplinary background in biological engineering, food science, microbiology, and food engineering.  His research interests are in the areas of AgTech, bioenergy, food safety, pathogen detection, nutraceuticals and functional foods. His research projects have focused on bioenergy, bioprocessing, process optimization, modeling and simulation of processing operations, electromagnetic equipment design for food and bioprocessing focusing on UAV applications in environmental monitoring and protection, food safety, value addition, nutritional quality, sustainable cold chain, thermo as well as biochemical conversion of biomass, among others. 
Satya has recently been involved in research projects dealing with the equipment design such as
1. Design and scale up of bioprocess equipment for sustainable energy systems, 2.Optimization and scale up using electro-technology for sustainable refrigeration systems, 3.Pasteurization of in-shell eggs, 4. Electrolyzed oxidizing water for clean-in-place food safety applications, 5. Assessment of nutritional quality processed using conventional and non-conventional techniques, 6. Design of heat treatment apparatus for enhancing the quality and extend the shelf life of fruits and vegetables using Computational Fluid Dynamics Approaches. 7. Novel pretreatments for drying, 8. Microwave assisted thermochemical conversion of biomass 9. Fuzzy Logic Indicator-based Modeling Approach for forest biomass harvesting, 10. Biosensors for defense and space application.

Judy Jones-Colston

​Our President and CEO, Judy has a plethora of experience in community, economic development and business consulting. She is a founding partner in Microsystems First, Inc. Her accomplishments include heading Florida's first state-wide, multi-bank Community Development Corporation, wherein she was overseeing the financing of over 300 business statewide.

Camille Brockman

Our COO, Camille's career has been focused on increasing the profitability of major corporations as well as developing cost-effective solutions for major public and private economic development programs, She has been a go-to consultant for such major firms as Lockheed-Martin, PepsiCo, Frito-Lay, Hill's Veterinary  Products, GRID Systems, Jordan, Delaurenti and to the State of Florida under two governors. 
 She also chaired the Federal Reserve Board, Jacksonville Branch, was an International Fellow at the London School of Business and received her education at the University of Wisconsin. She has lectured extensively on business development and commercialization of intellectual property. Her passion is to help customers uncover and define their real issues and apply her creative and practical skills in identifying the solutions.
Her consultancies also include  USDOL, HHS, and DOE,  Her expertise is in developing public-private partnerships to secure funding for major commercial and governmental initiatives. Recently she has taught commercialization at the college level. She is also a founding partner in Microsystems and, along with Judy, has owned and operated several entrepreneurial ventures, providing business consulting, for the past 14 years. ​​
